Richmond SOL is changing young lives. Help us change a few more.

Founded in 2003, Richmond SOL (Sports, Outreach, Leadership) currently serves over 200 families in and around Richmond, California. We are best known as a youth soccer club — and soccer is what we do best. But just as important, our players, their families, and our volunteers provide hundreds of community service hours each year. We organize cleanup days at the park, sponsor a food drive during the holidays, and collect clothing and gear to donate to people in need. These are just a few of the ways that the Cobras Build Community in and around our city.

An all-volunteer organization, Richmond SOL intentionally keeps registration fees low to allow more children and teens to participate in organized sports. Even so, the cost can be prohibitive for some families. Our goal is to accept any young person who wants to play soccer, regardless of the family’s ability to pay.

To broaden our base of support, Richmond SOL is seeking 501(c)3 nonprofit status, and we hope to complete the process by Spring 2019. We’re asking for community support so we can continue to serve the community. There are many ways you can get involved. You can sponsor a team, make a donation, or volunteer with the club. You can also purchase raffle tickets or simply spread the word so that more families will sign their kids up for soccer. To find out how you can get involved, check out the Vamos Cobras! section of the website, or contact us.
