Join us in community action this Thanksgiving by donating healthy, non-perishable packaged foods to Richmond SOL’s 17th Annual Thanksgiving Food Drive.
See the list above for food suggestions and drop off your food donations no later than 6:00 pm on Wednesday, November 22, 2023. The donation drop-off is at Leftside Printing, 1420 Macdonald Ave, Richmond.
If you prefer to Venmo a donation, scan the QR code above. Our volunteers will use the cash donations to purchase additional food up to the last minute on Wednesday evening. We’ll pack hundreds of grocery bags like those shown in the photo above with your donations. On Thanksgiving morning we’ll distribute the grocery bags to people in need in the Richmond community.
This service has been ongoing every Thanksgiving for the past 17 years, and it's part of why Richmond SOL is not just about soccer. SOL stands for Sports, Outreach, Leadership.
